IADI Partners with SISTERS KEEPERS to Empower Young Girls in Leadership Development
About the Partnership
We are proud to announce the successful partnership between Integrated Action of Development Initiatives (IADI) and Sisters Keepers in our shared mission to empower young girls through leadership development. This collaboration was instrumental in supporting programs like the Sisters Keepers Summer Institute, where girls between ages 12-18 years old were equipped with essential leadership skills, mentorship, and the confidence to take on roles as future changemakers.
Expanding Our Impact
With IADI’s support, the Sisters Keepers initiative was able to reach and impact more young girls as we provided 12 young girls from the Shama constituency, helping them unlock their leadership potential. As a result, we have empowered more girls to embrace their roles as future leaders, ready to lead with purpose and effect change in their respective communities.

Success in the Shama Constituency
One of the major highlights of this partnership was the remarkable success of participants from the Shama Constituency. Several girls from this region emerged as winners, showcasing their leadership potential and readiness to make a meaningful impact in their communities. These young changemakers include:
- Menelva Aba Mensah – Bronze Award in the 12-15 years category
- Kendra Cobinnah – Bronze Award in the 16-18 years category
- Florence Mensah – Fearless Communicator Award
- Ethel Esi Mensah – Spirit of the Sport Award
- Victoria Atsiatorme – Community Builder Award
These inspiring young leaders have already started contributing positively to local development, standing as a testament to the success of the program.

Looking Ahead
IADI remains dedicated to supporting programs that foster leadership and empowerment among young girls. As we look to the future, we are excited about continuing collaborations that will contribute to the development of the next generation of female leaders.
